a little late, but always worth it. Belated Eid Greetings to everyone, hopefully it was an amazing one full of remembrance, family, and love — oh and of course, lots of tandoori chicken as well. yum.
May this Eid mark a turning point in your year where we finally make the changes to our character that we’ve been wishing to implement for so long; may we break out of old habits; may we strengthen all of the bonds we hold dear and reconnect with those with whom we’ve disconnected; may we all find ourselves in this world through strengthening our iman and increasing the quality and quantity of our ebadah; may we all be better to one another; may we all stay firm on the right path. ameen.

Belated Eid Greetings everyone.
I hope you all had an amazing day full of peace and happiness (and lots of food) with friends and fam. I hope it wasn’t as cold as it was out here in Calgary and that it was a memorable one in a positive way. And I pray that Allah accepts all of our prayers, duas, and fasts during these blessed days.
For those of you on here who are really such awesome people and are concerned about my future here on Tumblr, i feel i should tell you all i’ve realized much in this short while and i’ve decided i’m not going anywhere. For me to leave a community like this would be crazy; y’all are too important to me and i couldn’t turn my back on you all like that. I still can’t believe it, just how Tumblr makes an unworthy guy like myself seem special is beyond my understanding but it’s left me humbled, honoured, and thankful. I can’t express how much i appreciate all the personal messages and unbelievably kind sentiments, and i wish to somehow make it up to all of you and insha’Allah i will, believe it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time for “And it don’t stop” to finally start being perpetual. Much love, everyone; i can’t thank y’all enough.
I hope you guys enjoyed these pictures of Masjids and Mosques from around the world. I promise i won’t be harassing your dashboard’s like that again for a while lol.
Also, in these last days of Ramadhan, i really want to give back to the Tumblr community to try and show some aspects of Islam that many of you might not know of. Now, what those aspects are and how i’m going to present them… i’m not exactly sure. All i know is that, although almost all that we do is to please and praise Allah, and to receive the rewards given by him in the Afterlife, to do this we must go about it by being very much a part of this world and so with that i’ll be trying to showcase and celebrate the secular spirit of Islam here on Tumblr.
And lastly, in case i don’t get a chance to do the above or say what im about to mention due to extreme busy-ness in the coming days: a BIG Eid Mubarak to all my Tumblr fam, may it be a blessed & joyous one for us all! Peace!
